Identified
Used to describe the Identification Qualifier of user data.
When data is classified as 'Identified', it means that the data is linked to you. If data is linked with a user/system/device level identifiers, such as Mi Account ID, IMEI, or Android ID, it will be classified as Identified.
Pseudonymized
Used to describe the Identification Qualifier of user data.
When data is classified as 'Pseudonymized', it means that the data is not linked with you. If data is linked with an app instance level identifier or a random identifier, such as Firebase Instance ID, and random ID, it will be classified as pseudonymized. We follow the Best practices for unique identifiers to create and use unique identifiers.
App Functionality
Used to describe the Purpose for collecting and using user data.
App Functionality means that the purpose for collecting the data is to provide a function or service to you.
Personalization
Used to describe the Purpose for collecting and using user data.
Personalization means that the data is collected and used to change the selection or presentation of content for different users.
Analytics
Used to describe the Purpose for collecting and using user data.
Analytics means that data is collected and used to analyze and improve the existing functional capabilities, and to provide insights for adding new capabilities based on the results of the analysis.
Advertising
Used to describe the Purpose for collecting and using user data.
Advertising means that the data is collected and used to provide an advertising service to you, including requesting advertisements, and evaluating the outcome of promotions.
HTTPS
HTTPS is short for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over SecureSocket Layer. HTTPS is an HTTP channel with security as its goal. On the basis of HTTP, the security of the transmission process is guaranteed through transmission encryption and identity authentication.
MD5
Plain means that the data is not encrypted at the field level, but Xiaomi still takes other necessary technical and management measures to ensure its security, such as database-level encryption, strict access control, etc.
AES
AES is short for Advanced Encryption Standard. AES is a specification for the encryption of electronic data established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2001. It is a commonly used symmetric encryption algorithm. A variant of Rijndael which has a fixed block size of 128 bits, and a key size of 128, 192, or 256 bits. AES-128 means the encryption algorithm is AES and the key size is 128 bits.
GAID

MAC Address
MAC is short for Media Access Control. MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to a network interface controller for use as a network address in communications within a network segment.
IMEI
IMEI is short for International Mobile Equipment Identity. IMEI is a unique number to identify mobile phones.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is short for Wireless Fidelity. Wi-Fi is a wireless local area network technology created in the IEEE 802.11 standard.
