4. MIUI Apps and Privacy

In this section, we provide additional details on our privacy practices related to the main applications and services in MIUI, including Xiaomi Cloud, Mi Account, Find Device, Themes, App Vault, Get Apps, Mi Browser, Mi Video, Wallpaper Carousel, Mi Music, Game Centre, App Usage Data, Advertisement ("Ads") and AI Technology.

The content for each app or service normally consists of the following sections:

The data inventory includes the data types we collected, the identification qualifier of the data, the purpose for collecting the data, the encryption methods used when the data is in transit and at rest, and the data retention policy. • Data Collection and Usage, which details the data collection and purpose for each function or module of a certain application or service. The relevant introduction can be considered as the use of data statements defined in ISO/IEC 19944-1:2020.
